The 5% is available on every plan — Public, Private, Hybrid, University and Custom LMS, and the Online Institute Management System. It is not a platform charge — it pays for the running services behind every payment your students make:

What exactly is OneLMS?
OneLMS is a done-for-you service that designs and builds your own branded Learning Management System — 100% aligned to your brand and teaching philosophy. You share your idea; we bring it to reality and hand it over live.
Do I pick from templates?
No. We don't use fixed templates — we design your website around your brand, subjects and how you teach, and any feature you need can be added.
How much do I pay to start a build?
It depends on the product. Hybrid LMS (LKR 40,000), University LMS (LKR 80,000), and Custom LMS (LKR 95,000) are staged builds: you pay a 40% advance to begin — LKR 16,000, LKR 32,000, and LKR 38,000 respectively — and the remaining 60% balance only after you review and accept the finished platform. Then we schedule the handover and go live.
Every other product — Private LMS (LKR 22,000), Online Institute Management System (LKR 60,000), Offline Institute Management System (LKR 25,000) and Student Phone Software (from LKR 12,000) — is paid in full up front, with no balance to settle later.
Private LMS can also be taken as a monthly plan at LKR 2,500 / month instead of the LKR 22,000 one-time price — it includes the same optional 5% per transaction either way.
What's the difference between Public, Private, Hybrid, University and Custom?
Public LMS (LKR 5,000 + LKR 5,000/year) lists you on the shared Public LMS marketplace. Private LMS (LKR 22,000 one-time — or LKR 2,500 / month — plus LKR 5,000/year) gives you your own standalone LMS on a unique subdomain — without paying for a custom-designed website or a .lk domain — plus free publicity on the Public LMS. Hybrid LMS (LKR 40,000 one-time + LKR 8,000/year) adds a custom-designed branded website on your own .lk domain, and keeps the free publicity. University LMS (LKR 80,000 one-time + LKR 15,000/year) offers advanced management. Custom LMS (LKR 95,000 one-time + LKR 15,000/year) is fully white-label with no marketplace listing. On both, the 5% per transaction is optional — decline the services and you pay 0%. All let you collect to your own bank account.
Private LMS or Hybrid LMS — which do I need?
Both give you your own standalone LMS. The difference is the website and the domain. Private LMS (LKR 22,000 one-time, or LKR 2,500 / month) runs on a unique subdomain we give you, like yourbrand.onelms.lk, using our standard LMS design. Hybrid LMS (LKR 40,000) adds a website designed 100% around your brand, on your own yourbrand.lk domain. If you want your own platform at the lowest cost, start with Private — the branding is what you're paying extra for with Hybrid.
What about Institute System & Student Phone Software?
There are two options. The Online Institute Management System (LKR 60,000 one-time + LKR 15,000 / year, plus an optional 5% per transaction) is a cloud-based platform for unlimited teachers, students and payments, with a free website and domain included. The Offline Institute Management System (LKR 25,000 + LKR 5,000/year) is a Windows desktop system with unlimited student management and fingerprint attendance, running fully offline on a single PC. Student Phone Software is LKR 12,000 (+ LKR 2,500/year) to lock your own device, or LKR 48,000 for a ready-made locked Redmi A5 phone with a 1-year warranty.
What does the 5% per transaction include? Is it compulsory?
The 5% per transaction is offered on every plan — Public, Private, Hybrid, University and Custom LMS, and the Online Institute Management System. It is not a platform charge — it covers the services that keep your platform running behind every payment your students make: 100% student technical support (we support your students directly, so you do not have to), payment gateway and payment handling costs, SMS gateway costs, and hosting and infrastructure management (servers, uptime, backups and ongoing maintenance).
No, it is not compulsory. The 5% is completely optional — you can buy any of these systems without these services and pay no commission at all. In that case you arrange your own payment gateway, SMS gateway, hosting and student technical support. This applies to University LMS and Custom LMS in exactly the same way — decline the services and you pay 0% commission, just as before.
